Default How to advertise a craft soda store?

I want to start a small retail store with over 300 kinds of craft soda and a small selection of old fashion candy.

I think social media is a must for this, but after that, I'm not sure. Maybe fliers? I don't think social media can do this by its self as with a retail store I'm going to be targeting a small area, so advertising on Facebook could get expensive. Can't do the radio because that hits the whole metropolitan area and I'd be paying for people that are just too far away.

    Any ideas?

I don't know much about social media but, I don't think I would depend on it for a retail shop. Location and street signage and local advertising may be more important.

Another idea you might think about is doing a Groupon. The key will be getting people to try it and to get them in the door one time to see what you have. We had a local Waffle shop open up that specialized in premium waffles. They ran a Groupon a few months after opening up and sold something like 1200 Groupons. It gave them so much business they had to move to a new location that was about 4 times bigger than their first. The place is always packed now.
