In case of a special search, how can i search a specific regional content/ channel in You tube?

For example: I want to search funny doings posted by Australian member. How can i do that? I choose country "Australia" in the bottom, but it doesn't work...

I guess there is no sort of setting for that. I have tried selecting the drop-down menu 'Country' to Australia and search on using "Funny videos in Australia" keyword, and it gives tons of funny videos and some video suggestions on the side bar once the video is clicked. You may try searching using a specific keyword on the query box.

Sometimes the regular Google search works better than You Tube search. Especially if you don't know who or the title of what you are searching for.
Just use the normal Google search and check "video" on the category bar.

Some already hit the nail on the head by suggesting searching on Google. You'll be able to drill down a bit better with more robust search options. Definitely something Youtube is lacking.

You could also narrow your search using site:youtube.com
