i started working today on a (3) bath remodel on a mini-castle

they are spending $26,000 just on fixtures for the 3 bathrooms...its spectacular!

the house is from 1920. All stone and has 6 bathrooms....how many houses in 1920 had 6 bathrooms eh? the house is on a normal city block and is about 6,000 sq ft

they have (2) maids and a caretaker....full time!!!....the maids just clean all day over and over......i dont know what the caretaker does, but i plan on talking with him daily to learn about how he got the job...it may be something i can do when i retire....i had considered being a home inspector, but a care taker may be even easier

the whole project is just shocking to me.....the whole remodel is in the $200,000 range (for 3 bathrooms)....and he's paying cash

this job will be 8-10% of my yearly sales....1 job!!!...probably 8 days worth of work

It must be fun to see a house like that. I can't imagine living on that scale, but I guess everything is relative.
