If you own a business with a minimum of 5 to 500 W-2 employees and your business was affected by the COVID pandemic, did you know that your business could receive up to $7000 to $26,000 per employee by applying for the Employee Retention Credit (ERC) from the Federal government that is a tax credit/grant paid to you, by check, from the IRS. You must be a business in operation since February 15, 2020. This is a onetime payment much like a grant to all businesses that qualify. Both sales reduction and operational impacts from the COVID pandemic to your business may qualify you. Because the application process is involved, I have recently become a referral agent for a company that specializes in the ERC Tax Credit Program that has processed and submitted over 3,500 ERC applications for small and medium size companies to the IRS and helped maximized the amount of ERC refunds.
