That is an excellent video and the store looks great. It is very impressive. I wish I had some good suggestions to get the numbers where they need to be.

I agree. Melissa, the store looks great and you clearly know the needs for that consumer. I am a bit stumped. So many of the typical "retailing" tactics don't seem relevant here. Other than intensely targeting that particular niche market I don't know how else to increase consumer traffic.
Is there an opportunity to increase a service side of the business? Group play dates, seminars for parents (since you are well versed ), some form of training for caregivers?
Thanks Paul! That was shot when I first opened! I was very lucky for that article, it gave me a huge boost in the beginning!
As of now I printed more flyers and I plan to drop off at every pediatrics office and therapy centers that are new... my flyers are posted in a lot already. I have a few events coming this month that will hopefully boost sales, last August was my worst month so I'm really hoping this makes a difference. I will also have a late night when school starts, I had that once before and never had customers but that was early on so I'm hoping if I promote it enough people will come.
After seeing the video it seems to me that the biggest asset in the business is YOU!
Running events and the like may be the best answer. Make yourself and your knowledge and experience the product. I have to believe that parents of special needs would be grateful for guidance, help and support. I don’t know exactly what to do, but creating a service for that community besides offering products might make a difference.
