Default Why Does My Wordpress Website's CSS Take Forever To Change?

I'm in my Wordpress's CSS and i'm trying to change things. The problem is, it takes forever to show the results. I'm on shared hosting and going to VPS, so is it because i'm on shared?

    THANKS

Not necessarily. I'm assuming you're changing the theme's CSS and not the actual WordPress software CSS.

Are you running a cache plug in?
Did you run one before and if you aren't running it anymore did you delete ALL of it's files?
Have you tried clearing your browser cache? Cleaning your web history and internet files?
Are you running the latest version of WordPress, all plug ins and the theme?

It could be the hosting, but I'd guess that the problem was closer to home with either something with you installation, or your computer/internet connection.

Caching is the likely issue and can either be on the Wordpress side or your browser. If you're wanting to see changes, you should always do a forced reload of the page in your browser or clear your local cache (whichever you find easier).
