A coach isn't a bad idea, provided he's giving you direction.

The advantage of hiring a coach is that he can save you a lot of time and the danger of making a mistake along the process.

My company does a lot of importing and exporting. And let me tell you that there are many mistakes to be made. If you don't have an experienced partner, consider hiring a consultant with experience to help you when you run into an obstacle.
