That is true....facebook groups (the ones that are not monitored well) are full of spammers but there is a point I would like
to point out. Facebook/YouTube take the 2nd and 3rd ranking spots worldwide when it
comes to traffic so if you do things right and in a non spammy way, you will def see some results. And
that also depends on what kind of offers you are promoting.

Here is an interesting thing I noticed. When you open your email box in the morning (well at least for me), I have at least 2 emails from Target, 1 from Lowes, 2 from Office Depot etc. And for the life of me I CANNOT get off of groupons spam list. For some reason we are forgiving about "SPAM" from those guys and either simply delete them or move on. When it comes to small businesses we consider it totally obnoxious and unforgivable. Why is this?

I have never used facebook for any type of business. But, for what it's worth I know some who do.
One friend owns a small chain of franchised restaurants. When he runs a "promo" for a restaurant he packs the place. He loves it. However, he has been trying to use facebook to attract new franchisees. A total dud...not one response ...not even an inquiry.
Another drives her hair salon business almost entirely from facebook. NOT from promotions but as part of a local facebook group where she is the "hair expert", writing blogs and answering questions about hair etc. Starting from scratch she now has almost 700 regular customers, almost all derived from facebook while never "pitching" for customers.

Look I had many optins to my offers through facebook groups but do you really want to know what is even better?
networking and connecting with so many entrepreneurs in these groups....so many times I've done business with
solo ad providers or marketers or something through these groups and it ended up being really good
experiences. BUT I WARN YOU....watch out for the scammers because there are tons of them...especially
when it comes to traffic services offered by any facebook group members. TWO that I ran into which are BIG TIME
scams: safe sign ups dot com and sign up finder dot come

try to search some flea markets in your area or target communities that belong to your city
