Hello all,

i got in a shipment from china, and some cartons is damaged so the stuff inside is not sell-able.

The factory claims that it happened on the way from china to me.
The forwarder claims that they probably got the stuff this way.

I bought this fob china

what should i do now?

If i claim insurance this will be an headache, and my insurance price will go up.

Thank you

Question,

How much of the shipment is some?

It sounds to me like this is a battle you won't win. Unless you are able to place someone at the factory (and at all points throughout) to ensure that everything is in good shape, this will be one of the risks of importing from China. Or, you bite the bullet and file the insurance claim.

With that said, have you looked into having the product locally manufactured?

Did you have shipping insurance? Time to invest in that next time you order it.

Since you bought the FOB, it means it became your product once it was loaded on the truck. I would file a claim with the shipping company.
