Hi members,
My name is Jeff Gray from Ottawa, ON Canada and I am the founder of SweetCaliforniaJobs.com (http://www.sweetcaliforniajobs.com) and SweetUSAJobs.com (http://www.SweetUSAJobs.com). I have always felt there was a market for smaller job sites that could offer ads at fractions of the cost that sites like Monster charge to their clients. All revenue so far has been through adsense and ppc on the backfilled jobs so I am not taking advantage of the small businesses that could use my services. Considering my lack of marketing skills, it is going ok. I hope that joining this forum and others like it, I can learn to market and promote my site more efficiently and make a little scratch along the way.
I also wrote a small cut and paste program a few years ago that I offer for free called Express Paste. feel free to download it at expresspaste.com (http://www.expresspaste.com)
This came about when I was working a job where I had many different text snibblets that I was constantly writing over and over again. I had downloaded a program I liked but when it expired, I decided to write my own.
Seeing 60mobile's introduction from a few days ago I should discuss with him the possibility of writing a Express Paste mobile app.
Besides all the above I have a huge passion for Golf, Hockey and Baseball. My 15 seconds of fame came 4 years ago where I got a hole in one at a charity event and won a 15' foot starcraft Bass Boat. Problem was I don't fish.
