I finishing up on a website for mobile phone and tablets. It will basically have the same content as my main site but with features specific to smart phone and tablet. Plus the formatting will be more suited for those devices. I am trying to decide on the URL. There are several ways to go, I just need to determine which is best.

Ignore the extra spaces in the 3rd and 4th items. They are there to prevent the system from reading them as a web address.

If you are interested, you can see the new site here: http:\\Residential Real Estate - HouseViewOnline (http://www.houseviewonline.com/MobileResults.php)

Voted for 1 and/or 3. I don't see a reason for a completely separate domain for mobile users as it could impact your SEO rankings, and honestly users will unlikely ever know about a mobile domain as the main domain should detect this and redirect the user (At least I hope your coding it this way...).

I would lean more towards the 3rd choice if you ever see a need for securing your site with an SSL Certificate, again to keep expenses to a minimum.

The main page will detect the mobile device and give the visitor a choice. They will be prompted if they want to be redirected with the choices being "Always", "Yes", "No", "Never".
