I have an LLC set up in SC. I did a foreign LLC in Alabama, but at the state level they don't recognize DBA's but told me that I didn't have to do any registration specifically for a DBA, the local level said when I complete my pw, just put the legal name and whatever I will be doing business as.. Got it!

My question is, when I hire employees, do I list only the DBA on the application and other hiring pw the employee needs to sign? or do I list, for example, CDF, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, doing business as ABC?

Or do I just put the statement in small print at the end of each document the employee has to sign?

Is it necessary to open a bank account as the DBA, or could the employees just be paid from the LLC with the LLC information on the checks or deposit?
