Can anyone recommend a good tax attorney in Chicago? I am self-employed and want to form a business. I need someone who is familiar with the rules re: forming an S-Corp v. an LLC.

"Good" is very subjective, and it also depends on what you're looking for. There are a lot of resources on forming an S-Corp vs an LLC. For example: Illinois Limited Liability Company :: LLC Center (http://www.limitedliabilitycompanycenter.com/illinois.html) has some information on forming an LLC in Illinois. And also LLC vs S Corporation (http://www.limitedliabilitycompanycenter.com/llc_vs_s_corp.html). I should note that this site is published by one of the site's moderators, who is a Chicago-area attorney. Perhaps if you don't find this free information he has published is sufficient for your needs, you could try contacting him.
