I've ignored the problem for a while but now it's annoying me. My blog The Handy Marketer (http://www.handymarketer.com) is not displaying properly in Internet Explorer. Or at least in IE7 - which is the version we have installed at work. There are some huge blank spaces appearing and the reader has to scroll for ages before seeing any content.

I'm not sure where this comes from, I tried turning off all the plugins on the site to see if one of them was creating a bug, but it didn't change anything. I contacted the theme designer and they said it didn't come from the theme.

I might need to get a designer to have a look at the back end, but before I get there, does anyone have a clue what it might be? I'm also interested to see how the site displays on your browser.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know what version of IE I have installed, I'm assuming what ever the latest version is, but it looks fine on IE, Chrome, FF and Safari on my desktop.

Could also be something on your side such as a web content filter (Network or software based), Intrusion Detection software or etc...

So far so good...but will need to wait until the IE7 screenshots are uploaded to confirm.

I'm using IE8 and Firefox 14.0.1 and the blog looked fine in both.

This screenshot came out OK (No white space):

However it does appear that there may be a scripting error....have you tried disabling the code that allows you to pull down the advertisement containing the text "Get my FREE 7 day eCourse now...." at the top of the page?

The biggest problems I have are on IE7 which I know is way outdated, but it's the only browser we are allowed to use at work...

The script from the bar at the top is not the problem, I only added that last week.

Thanks anyway for testing, if it looks fine on all browsers I'll just keep it like that for now.

Could you post an image of what it looks like in IE7? I don't have IE7 readily available to check, but if I see what you're seeing and then check your code, I might be able to tell you what's going on.

When I get a chance to check in IE7 I will, but it might be a couple of days. It's on a computer I don't turn on all that much.
