Does anyone here have any experience with advertising on local digital bill boards?

I see and can really vision my ad up there. I also notice like they are much like banner advertising as I see the same store and businesses rotate different banners.

I don't have any experience with them as an advertiser, but as a viewer of the ad I am more likely to pay attention to some of the digital ads I've seen. I'm thinking of any that you have to wait a moment and watch for the ad to form and complete. I think it might be as simple as curiosity and having seen the start of one I want to wait until it finishes to know what it's going to be.

I have also notice they are super bright. There is one that is almost blinding near a major high here in Colorado. I can't help but look at the very bright sign. You would probably lots of people looking at your ad. Hopefully, it doesn't cost too much. If you do use this option, let us know how much it cost for how long. Thanks!

I too tend to notice those more than traditional ones. Of course where I live it's the norm, especially on the strip, but around town and away from casinos, they do still stand out.

From a stand point of someone who has never used one of these, but I have inquired before while curious about advertising on one. The costs to advertise on one of these is huge thousands of dollars and still would depend on alot of factors.

Size of the Billboard - Because they’re in so many different sizes advertising on one that's 20ft X 10ft high as opposed to one 10ft x 10ft would be a difference in pricing. Most of the boards are being used by up to 6 advertisers at a time with their messages being rotated every few seconds.

If your message is running at peak times like 8am during commute to work, 12pm at lunch time or 5-6pm just after going home from work these times maybe more expensive than 12am when no one is on the roads.

Dot pitch - this affects the layout of the ad. Most of these boards if not all require that you predefine you ads to certain criteria before its ready to be added.

If you plan to advertise on digital billboards then you should prepare for thousands of dollars. Then, consider the factors needed for you to build up your preferred banner (just what websonalized stated above). But if your business was just starting in the field, I guess you should start with a small adverts, e.i., banners. I think that would cost you not much of a thousand dollars. If the banners won't do, then go with another option. You should provide a step by step plan on this. Or perhaps an option 1,2,3 so on and so forth.
I suggest that you build your perception on this first.
