What financial / tax software do you guys use for your small business? I'm assuming Quicken and Microsoft Money are the top players right?

Quickbooks and turboTax for business when we did them- I now have an accountant prepare them.

I use QuickBooks to manage the books of my businesses and find it best for my needs over Peachtree. Both have their perks.

For taxes, I do my own taxes with software for tax professionals. Though I certainly don't consider myself a "tax professional", just tax savvy!

mortgage_loan: The best software depends on your needs. QuickBooks is a very popular program by Intuit. PeachTree by Sage is the biggest other competitor. Microsoft Money for Business and now even Microsoft Accounting are viable options. I use MS Money for my personal financial matters and like it's set up, but am not sure I'd trust using my business with it. Plus I'm not too sure how I'd like to comingle my personal and business finances in one file unless it's a sole propietorship. But even if it's not, I still think having a separate file for it would be the best option as if you're a corporation, partnership, or LLC -- you really don't want to be comingling personal/business (even though it says it's separate.)
