What type(s) of marketing/advertising is recommended for a brand new company to begin pulling in clients? Keep in mind this is a business-to-business service that is strictly internet based.

If you're internet based, use the internet. Start a blog. Have a good, well written website. Make use of social media. A lot of businesses are online these days, and they use the Internet to find service providers just like individuals do.

if you are strictly internet based, start thinking about pay per click advertising. Very cheap and easy to get started, eg: Google Adwords, MSN Adcenter.

7search is a great PPC provider and much cheaper than Adwords. $25 can get you off to a very good start.

Some of the free internet marketing methods such as article marketing and video marketing on YouTube, etc. can be a great way to start out, especially if you're on a budget. There is a ton of information that can be online that can be googled, to learn more about how to incorporate these methods into you're marketing strategy.
