I found this article on the advantages and risks of email lists (http://www.chrisg.com/email-marketing-tips-what-is-email-marketing/) and thought some of you might interested.
The article is the first in what will be a series about email marketing.
When I first got online I was more against email marketing than anything as it mostly conjured up images of spam in my head, but over the years I've seen some good ones and can see if they're done well you really can provide a valuable experience for your customers.
