I received an email from my contact us form from my website the other day and called the company, made an appointment for today and now I have my first client. I will be doing full bookkeeping services on a monthly basis.

I know the content and design of my website helped get me my first new client and I wanted to thank everyone who helped me. Thank you Patrysha for writing the content on my home page and everyone else who suggested all the changes to the design, and also Matt for the logo.

Congratulations! But remember all the fancy words and pretty pictures just get them to you...YOU were the one that closed the deal!! Woo hoo! May it be the very first of many in the coming year.

Congratulations Jo Ellen. I know you must feel great. That first client is so exciting. And I agree with Patrysha. The fancy words and pretty pictures get them to contact you. You're the one who had to close the deal and that's no easy thing. You deserve a pat on the back.

Well, pat away. I still may not of had the chance to close the deal if I didn't have a nice website for them to look at. So you all do deserve some credit. So a pat on the back to you all too.

Good for you! You should be proud of yourself that you were able to see you needed some assistance with your sales tools, and got it, and then went out and closed the sale. Way to go!

The first of many. Once you close that first one, the rest start to fall into place.

Congrats! I agree with Harold. After my first contact from the website, there seem to be daily contacts. It will all fall into place. Especially with word of mouth from the first.

now you will find out if you made the right decision to go into business or not....stress and headaches or a challange and profit

Nah, it takes more than one to figure that out. My first client was easy, so was my second. I had to get into the full swing, maybe 3-4 months in of steady work before I could tell if I was going to be happy doing it.
