Welcome aboard. I have often thought of Costa Rica as a place to retire.

What should we call you? Lic? Giovanna?

I've lived in both Panama and El Salvador. My wife is from El Salvador. My wife looked into relocating to Costa Rica, but found it expensive to run a business from (web based business) relative to Florida. I believe there were tax issues as well as general cost of living things like groceries. All I need to work is a phone that appears to be in the US with good connections and good internet service.

Can you give us a run down on the costs of living and operating out of Costa Rica?
