Is there a section of the forum to request paid services? For example, copywriting services?

Thanks!

Nope, but off the top of my head there is Dan Furman, Crazy Dog Creative and me...depends on your budget and what kind of writing style you are looking for.

Ditto to what Patrysha said - I think CBS Creative might do some copywriting too, but I could just be confused :)

I simply PM people who I know do what I'm looking for when I have a project I need to hire out or refer another client to - that should work for you too!

Nothing set up specifically to request services. Your best bet is getting to know the people here and what they offer. You already have a few good names to check out.

Yes, it's true, I do copywriting. I'm actually in the process of choosing a team to expand that service.

No problem. If you look at Karen's thread about a late invoice payment, you'll see where my mind was slipping too. Something in the air today maybe.

Yup - there are a few of us here - all different styles and price points. Check out our websites.

Thanks to all those responded. I was mainly concerned about the proper way to ask for paid services on this forum.

vangogh, I will do just that. Thanks.

Copy writing is pretty basic. Just remember some basic journalism: Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? and the inverted pyramid (most important stuff on top!) Don't be afraid to get your message out there in as many formats as possible. Gee, when I went to school, computers were housed in big rooms with huge air conditioners and ran only when someone fed them the correct paper-punched cards in the right order with the right binary code precisely punched in by some really smart guy. Hope this helps!

I agree - this should be a protest thread for smiles!!!

I'll toss my name in the hat as well. Specializing in SEO copywriting and conversion writing. (I agree about smilies.)

It looks like vangogh has a new task to add to his list...bring on the smilies.

Maybe something from here perhaps?

Umm…has anyone noticed the smiley button on the editor? There are currently 11 different smileys you can use including the rolleyes smiley  Yeah, it's not the best smiley, but it is called rolleyes. Type a colon in front of the word rolleyes and you can skip the editor button too.

I don't think we currently have meta smilies. :(

If I find some free time I'll add a few more smilies to the currently available ones. I'd be lying if I said it was at the top of my to do list though.

It's not just you. I would point out though that Chimpie started this thread about a year ago and I'm guessing the need for a copywriter is no longer present.

The thread was revived not too long ago. I think most people missed when it started. :)
