Hi,

I have a website to sell food to US people and ship the orders to my country(basically people there can buy stuff for their relatives in my country) I just included some medicines which don't require prescription(tylenol, some creams, overt the counter antibiotics, etc)

Do I need an especial license for this matter?...Is it OK for me to advertise and sell those kind of medicines to US people and ship them to another country?

Thanks a lot

Good question. Just a guess on my part, but I would think since it's over the counter type of stuff you wouldn't need a license. Don't hold me to that since I really am just taking a guess. It's quite possible that all the places that sell over the counter medicines do have a license to sell them. And even if no license is needed to sell in general you might need one to ship overseas.

Thanks Vangogh,
Any ideas of where can I look to find info about this?

You might want to check the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) site (http://www.fda.gov/). It's a big site so you may need to spend some time with it, but that's the government agency in charge of everything pharmaceutical related.

I also found this site, NapRx (http://www.napsronline.org/) which offers training and certification to pharmaceutical representatives. I don't think you'll need certification, but they might have some useful info on the site.
