Hi, I just got a curious doubt. Back then website pages used to have their own parent folders like services or Solutions from where they are marked.

Sample: www.Website(.)com/ services / digital-marketing/

But I'm seeing a lot of well optimized websites that have all the pages marked to their home page.

Sample: www.Website(.) com/ digital-marketing/

What's the big difference in terms of SEO. Different people say different stuff:

1. The lesser the deep folders the more the page authority and importance (So go for the sample 2)
2. The more deep the folder structure the more the website contents are structured and will result in better SERP. (So go for sample 1)

Which one do you think is idea practice?
