Hello Folks! I'm launching a new side business in the very niche market of Flight Simulation. Essentially, I act as a marketplace for all flight simulation software and hardware(coming soon). Here is my site: Flight Sim Software & Hardware Shop - Flightdeckshop (http://flightdeckshop.com)

I would appreciate some feedback. The shop is based on WooCommerce for Wordpress.

As far as visually the site seems fairly good. It did load slowly and as soon as it did load I was hit twice with a pop up to join your mailing list. Once before I even have a chance to take a peek at your site is bad but twice with 2 seconds in between would tend to send me running if I were a customer.

Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it.
Yes, I've been trying to leverage caching to optimize the speed. That's one of the things that my competitors beat me on. I think the next step is to transfer all the Js & Css files over to Amazon's CDN and cross my fingers.
I did not know the popup showed up twice. That's interesting. I personally hate popups, so I'm going to completely disable that feature and move it over as a form right above the footer.

I agree, it loads kind of slow, and the pop up thing is really annoying. But it looks as if you put some real time and care into it, especially the product descriptions.
I didn't check it for responsiveness, but if I had one suggestion off the top of my head it would be to add some kind of light box so that shoppers can see larger images.

When I'm shopping online, images are everything and being able to blow them up means a lot. I do a lot of browsing on my tablet and when a site doesn't display well with good images, I leave. Being restricted to small images makes me feel less than excited about purchasing...like I'm taking a risk.

Also, the font weight seems kind of thick. Seems like the font itself could be a bit larger, but take down thickness of the weight. For some reason everything looks bold and a little blurry because it's grey.

JMO of course.

Harold, Excellent Points! Thank you.

I did pay attention to responsiveness, and I'm sure it's compatible with mobiles(Not sure about tablets).
I completely failed to realize that the Lightbox stopped working for some reason. Nice catch!
Will be working on speed over the weekend, as that's a major issue.
Interesting Idea about the Fonts. Never thought of that before, I'll look into adjusting the font sizes.
