I own a c-corp with online retailer business. All profits are from the retails. what is the dividend type in this case
1a ordinary dividends;
1b qualified dividends,
2a captial gain distributions,
2b unrecaptured section 1250 gain.

I kinda think it should be 1b qualified dividends, but I am not very sure. Please give me your opinion. Thanks in advance.

Unless there is something you are not telling us it would be ordinary dividends.

Whatever I'll answer too. Qualified dividends are dividends taxed differently than usual, this is done but I doubt you'll apply since you don't know the difference between the type of dividends. Ordinary are normal dividends taxed on your personal tax return. Capital gain distributions are for mutual funds. Unrecaptured section 1250 gain is real estate. You'd use ordinary dividends.
