Why Is My Profile Picture Not Showing?

My picture uploads fine, shows in that setting, but not on my posts?

Would appreciate any insights

It looks like you added a profile image, but not an avatar. Look in Settings again. A couple of links below Edit Profile is Edit Avatar. The avatar is the one that shows up on posts. The profile image only shows on your profile page.

Nah, I think I did the exact same thing at first. I'm really not sure why there are options for both, but I guess the thinking was that some people want to show different images on posts and on their profile page.
