I'm looking to update my Ipod, anyone got some more suggestions as to what I could add?

Top played artists are (links added for those who might not know the songs or artists):
Alice Cooper https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcEzx5HLYEw
Josh Turner https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_6JxQVbJ-M
Blake Shelton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTT2LEyjdC4
Halestorm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sXoA7B5yJo
Brad Paisley https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tiPndMqxLQ
Guns 'N Roses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SbUC-UaAxE
Coolio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpGbzYlnz7c
DMX https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ThlhSnRk21E

And, interestingly enough, the most played song:

Yes, I do have a varied taste in music.

And fyi, any recommendations of Coldplay will be ignored (they make me want to start destroying things with the biggest hammer i can find).

Why don't you try a streaming music service? You can use free versions of iHeart Radio, TuneIn, and I think Pandora. iHeart and Pandora make suggestions based on your tastes and you can make "stations" that play tracks from the kind of artists that you like.

TuneIn is good for listening to actual radio stations. You can also listen to most stations around the world directly if you know what they are and just go to their websites.
Also iTunes has the best access to thousands of radio stations in every genre, and from everywhere in the world.

Personally I use Google Play Music because it comes with You Tube Red and You Tube Music for $10 a mo. and I can use it on everything.

Basically all of these options require internet access. Do you have wifi in the shop?

I definitely agree with the Coldplay comment.

Some staples for me:

"Fat Lip" by Sum*41
"Take a Look Around" by Limp Bizkit
"Duality" by Slipknot
"Red, White, and Blue" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
"Numb/Encore" by Linkin Park and Jay-Z
"Survivalism" by Nine Inch Nails
"Kiss My Country Ass" by Blake Shelton
"Follow Your Arrow" by Kacey Musgraves
"What I Got" by Sublime
"Dixieland Delight" by Alabama
"Squeezebox" by The Who
"One Bourbon, One Scotch, and One Beer" by George Thorogood

Those are just a few that immediately popped in my head.

So no Nickleback then?

Never use Nickleback.

Thanks for the ideas.

Harold, I won't use a streaming service as shop is rural and half decent internet to use said service will run me well over $200/month on a 3 year contract. Phone plan only has 1GB and overage charges run $2/GB and I'm already up against that most months.

Brian, I've got half of those. I was surprised that Skynyrd wasn't in the top 10 played. I should have also mentioned that I've got over 55GB of music on the desktop and 2,000 songs on the Ipod (funny how this still falls into set patterns).

As for the Nickleback comments, Nickleback is > Coldplay. I've never bought into the hype that it is cool to hate them. In fact, when https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DmeUuoxyt_E plays, I can't help but think of Owen and some of his more recent posts. Don't get me wrong with Coldplay, they have talent, but it's their style that drives me nuts (my brothers found this out the hard way).

You can always just download music or something. Maybe you can download a mix on YouTube of music or hire a DJ to mix songs together. I created a mix for one of my website clients (since I have CDJs and a mixer).

Makes sense.

FYI with many you can download music to your device to listen to offline. Since you have an iPod check out Apple Music. Of course this only works as long as you are paying for the service. But $10 a month for access to unlimited songs ( which generally cost at least .99 cents each) is a good deal if you're constantly looking for and buying music.
