I am new to SEO. I have created a website for my business and have done research on SEO but I'm not sure where to begin really. Is the content on my site up to par? What can I add or take away from my site to improve SEO. My website (I am unsure if I am supposed to post links) is wwww.krjinteractive.com. Thanks for the help/feedback!

Unfortunately it looks as though your site is not published so I am unable to give you much advice based on what you have.

What I can tell you is, good relevant content will get you ranked well. Fresh RELEVANT, SHARABLE content will get you ranked. Proper user of head tags (<h1><h2><h3>) and alt tags for images (<img src="#" alt="description of image" />. Links from RELEVANT sources linking back to your site. So if you're a business development website, links from a power rangers website or cartoon website are not going to mean anything compared to like a link from your local chamber of commerce or other sites that are about business development. Good titles and meta descriptions will help you get ranked well.

So for a beginning I would do this:
1. Make sure pages titles are compelling but keyword focused - "Business Development | KRJ Interactive" vs "Business Development Strategies that WORK by KRJ Interactive"
2. Detailed meta descriptions so when people are searching for your keywords or phrases they can see what your page is about. Make sure to use your keywords and phrases in the description as well.
3. Proper use of title tags reinforcing the title of your page - "<h1>Development Strategies for your Business</h1>" vs "<h1>Business Development Strategies that WORK</h1>"
4. Relevant content with the use of your target keyword/key phrase peppered in along the way. Even better, content that can only be found on your website no one else has this same kind of content as you.
5. Pretty URLs (especially if you're using a CMS) - www.domain.com/?p1243 vs www.domain.com/keyword-or-phrase

There's a good start for you and good luck. Algorithms are always changing but these basics will almost certainly stay the same.

One thing I would do is get an e-mail that isn't a gmail address. Gmail will let you use corporate domains, so you might look into that.

Before I worried about SEO, I'd have a copywriter or someone take a look at the site. Your copy could use some upgrading. At the very least, get someone to proofread. You've got some punctuation mistakes and word misuse that needs to be corrected.

Also, who is the rest of the team who has the combined 30 years of experience? You mention the founder, but give no qualifications that explain why someone should trust him to help them build their business, being a thinker and being passionate about thinking of ideas for new businesses isn't really enough to convince someone to risk their money with you. It would help if there was a more rounded picture of who the team is and why they're qualified to help new businesses get started.

In my opinion, and this is just my opinion, you need to address these issues before you start working on SEO and bringing more clients to your site.

Thanks for the feedback. I am not sure why the site did not work for you krymson. I appreciate it all and will tweak my site accordingly. Any other feedback is much appreciated!

I was able to get it to load now.

I would also suggest purchasing stock photography. It looks very unprofessional to have image credits and other watermarks on the images.

I'm not a fan of the design, but that's just my opinion, I think you could choose something better to represent your brand. In my eyes it looks amateurish so im going to automatically think your services are amateurish. There's not testimonials or referrals to say you do a good job. If i was a potential client, I'm not convinced to use your services based on your content (or lack of) and design. That's my take away from your site.

If my critique is harsh I'm sorry, but I work with many small businesses and I know what they look for so I look at the site as if i was one of my clients.

One thing you should definitely fix is that the non www version of your site:

https://www.krjinteractive.com/ works fine
https://krjinteractive.com/ reports and untrusted connection

If you visit the 'non https://' version first it correctly redirects to https://www.krjinteractive.com/ in both cases so the problem appears to be with just one 'variant' that people could type in.
