I have, or will have a few products that needs barcodes. With a different one for each size, I may need 12-30 UPC codes. Anyone have experience with this? Would really appreciate your input. Of course, I'm looking for the best deal, but don't want to get scammed.

The "authentic" GS1 site (http://barcodes.gs1us.org/dnn_bcec/Default.aspx?gclid=CNXq8N71jpoCFRMUagodSTdbFg). Their costs are several hundred per barcode (Sorry, can't lay my fingers on the exact pricing right now.)

This one (http://www.upccode.net/?engine=adwords!111&match=exact&keyword=upc&gclid=CNnIu_f0jpoCFQkzawodARm9FA) has them for $89.00 each.

This place (http://www.mozian.com/upc02.html) sells them for $19.95 each (2 or more). Do you think they're legit?

I have used free barcode generators in the past and never had a problem. They have all been books and calendars and the isbn number was already in the clients possession in each case.

I don't know your exact situation, but since the free ones have worked just fine for me I'm pretty sure the 20 dollar ones would be legit too. Worst case scenario you buy, you print BEFORE you put it on the package, and then you try it out. If it doesn't work you can contest the charge on your card or do whatever you want to get redemption.

I believe we used Simply Barcodes for one of our products in the past. It worked just fine.
