Default how to claim for networking events which also have training elements?

So there's an animation expo coming up that I'd like to figure out how to best claim on against my taxes.

I gather that networking events can be deducted but only at 50%

But I'm trying to really nail down what kind of expense this is because the event also has seminars and training (which can be 100% deductible, right?) and I think they're all part of the main entry fee so couldn't be singled out separately.

First know that I'm not a tax expert by any means so that this with a grain of salt. I think you could call this training and not a networking event. While you may end up networking at the event, I'm guessing the organizers of the expo don't think of it as a networking event. If you're going there for seminars and get training then I think you'd be justified in treating the event that way for the purposes of taxes.
