    Default WordPress appointment booking solution?

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has suggestion for a appointment booking solution that is mobile friendly?

    Thanks!

Is this for you to schedule appointments on the back end, or for people to schedule their own from available times?
And do you need it to take payments?
And for what kind of business is this?
    Hair salon? Doctor? Pet grooming?

Are there any other needs or variables?
Any additional information that you need it to collect?

    Thanks for the reply!

    1. Is this for you to schedule appointments on the back end, or for people to schedule their own from available times? Its for customers to see available dates/times and schedule it on their own.

    2. And do you need it to take payments? at the end it should be presented to pay online (PayPal) or in person.

    3. And for what kind of business is this? Housekeeping. Services are always provided at customer homes.

    4. Are there any other needs or variables? Add tax on the total amount, is customer wants certain service then they should be able to select total # of hours and the total should be automatically calculated.

    5. Any additional information that you need it to collect? Email, phone #, option if they want to be added on the promotion email list.

I came across Bookly plugin that almost fits the bill but reading the comments on Enveto page it does not have much customization if something needs to be added.

I've used Bookly and it's pretty basic. Not much customization of functions.
    Check out this one:

    There's a ton on CodeCanyon

    Thanks for that suggestion!
I've demoed and compared all other similar booking calendars on CodeCanyon and seems like Bookly and Appointkart are the best options for my needs.
One thing that I forgot to mention is that I need 2-way Google calendar synchronization and only Bookly offers that.
I guess I have to buy it and see how it goes.

    Hi JohnnyBeGood,

I use a platform called vCita. I believe it can do everything you need.

The online calendar can be synced with yours and it will show available time slots to prospects and clients.

There's also a payment feature included and you can add multiple services for them to choose from.

Each person who schedules a service/appointment with you will receive 2 email reminders and 2 text reminders (you can choose what time/day they will receive them.

Neat feature is the homepage pop-up that appears when they land on your site. It's in the bottom right corner.

One more thing: you can also include a link in your email campaigns to the services/appointments page specifically for clients.

    Thank you!

This is definitely a good alternative. One thing that I'm not ready now is a monthly subscription. If business really picks up and there's a need I will definitely look into it.
