that makes sense on the big companies or the gov...and it might have to be documented or be seen as a bribe...
.but with a good wholesale customer i would never do it on something they might want to buy again....meaning i wouldnt want it to be seen as the new price they were going to get every time....i do little things they might not realize also.....
but i like this the best ; when its a little present....like in a real nice retail situation i get sometimes....a customer brings a really big spender to the store,,,and i give her an extra candle , or some other 10$ thing or that big of a discount, and say roughly, thanks for bringing this new person to us......

its probably easier and maybe different for me with so much face to face with my customers......
