ive just mailed out my largest invoice ($39,500)

to me its huge (8% of my total sales for 2012 on 1 job)

wondering what your largest invoice is? (i assume someone will say 1/2 a million...like Frederick)

I'm waiting for $55k at the end of the month. I'm pretty sure that's my largest one ever. I get some 20k ish orders here and there. I just consider those to be flukes though and use the money to pay off debt. The 2 to 5k orders are my bread and butter.

$51,000.00. I wouldn't trust anybody to have anymore than that outstanding :)
Done jobs worth more than that, but invoiced in stages.

on that $39,500 invoice---$20,000 is owed for fixtures to a supply house...the builder says he will pay me before the end of the month to cover it

im going to owe $30,000 to my suppliers this month.......which will be the largest amount IVE been invoiced for

We aren't talking about a small company. I'm not even slightly worried about my receivable on this one.

You cannot be too careful when dealing with a large receivables tally, regardless of who has racked it up.
Big businesses are not immune from hardship.

And big orders are where the money is. Big companies give you their terms. Anheuser Busch wants net 180. I can't do to many net 180's at a time, but I'll take big orders from companies like Anheuser Busch Net 30 all week long.
