I am a pretty avid Facebook user. Since Facebook tracks my search history, they're very aware I am interested in business. Almost everyday I see some guy in a luxury vehicle of some sort while he opens an envelope and starts counting around $10k. He then says you have like, share, comment "I want in", and then private message him the same. Like they're literally everywhere. They'll also post something like "He worked at McDonald's before and now look at him" or something like "He was a serial killer before this, now everyone wants to be him" or something stupid. The best part? PEOPLE ACTUALLY COMMENT AND EVERYTHING. People man.

People man.

You're still young. When it comes to people in general, very little surprises me any more - especially when they leap at the get rich quick schemes.

I actually don't see those anymore on Facebook. But I do see them at the bottom of blogs that use those crap related articles plug ins.

My favorite is the blogging ads - "I started my blog three months ago and now I'm making $10,000 a month" and then they offer to teach you all their tricks. Seriously?

I can't believe those still work. I guess there's always going to be a new crop of people who get the bright idea that "the internet" is where they can make easy money, so of course there's always going to be someone selling them what they want to hear.

The target audience for those get rich quick schemes are mostly millennials that want to be wealthy in the next year with minimal effort. The gurus try to sell you on a system that will supposedly make you rich, yet that guru is not making his money by using that system, but instead by selling you that system.

They work on older people too. I have a buddy that has called me for years asking what I know about one "system" after another. Rich Dad. Making money from Google Ads. Clickbank. Affiliate marketing. Pretty much every"No experience necessary" pitch of the last 7 years or so. Honestly by now he could have learned a marketable skill .

Very true, not only do people waste money on these get rich quick schemes, but they waste something even more valuable their time. Nice to see someone else from Las Vegas here in the forum.

Harold is the CEO of MGM, that's the only reason he lives there.

I think they work because there are always going to be people who believe that they can strike it rich and be successful without working hard to get there. No one tells them that the people who have become really successful blogging spent years creating content and building their audience. They also, as damienzero pointed out, don't seem to realize that the person telling them how to get rich is getting rich off selling his tips, not by doing what he or she is telling others to do.

There's a real disconnect on how to get from point A to point B. It's actually point Z. There's a lot of work and little details to grind out on the way to point B and most people think that it can be skipped because they think that's what they've seen.

I've said it here on the forum many times that people watch far too much TV and believe that what they see is real time. That things go from good idea to smashing success overnight. I have a ton of analogies for it from sitcom mentality, drive through mentality, the gold rush of the 1800's and so on. But what I've never been able to do is break that belief when someone is certain that there's an easier way.

My old partner and I used to rack our brains trying to find a way to break people away from their stereotypes about business and marketing, and get them to put in the work and commit to learning the basics. That we can't do it all for you with no input and work from you what so ever. Especially if we aren't able to change anything.

After 7 years I've pretty much decided that it's a waste of time, and to skip over those people and target the ones who want it.

Actually there are actual people who are making tons of money every single month and they are "THE VENDORS" who sells them and the affiliates who makes tons of commisions selling this systems. If you go to sites like muncheye.com you can see how much an affiliate is making by JV with the vendors of the products. The process is simple of earning such commissions:

- Youtube - Affiliates create reviews of products which are going to launch soon as the video is been published before the product has launched and there is no competition on that keyword the video will get on top within 24 hours or so. Ofcourse affiliates put some effort like providing views, likes, comments etc to rank it even faster. As soon as the product launched people are going to find reviews and most people believe in video reviews and Youtube is the best way and you get a sell from there and also affiliates are going to opt-in those customers in their list so that they can send them news about every new product launch afterwards so it's a potential customer for that affiliate for lifetime :)

- GPT Sites - If you can check on GPT (get paid to) sites you will see lots of ads like "learn how to make money online for Free!" where you have to put your email to get a PDF report now this are those affiliates. As soon as you put your email on their list they are going to blast you daily with new MMO (make money online) opportunities.

Suppose you have a list of 200k such peoples and you blast email once a day for a product which gives you commision of $25 per sell now if only 500 people will buy from your link you make $12500 per day and that's easy money.

Not only that as a JV you will get cash prizes along with your commisions if you provide certain number of sales. Now I have seen most vendors provided upto $10000 first prize for 1000+ sales or so so that's a plus and don't forget you then become "Marketing Guru" :)

This is how the system works and there are 1000's of newborn everyday on internet who think they can make money easily online so this thing will last for long for sure.

I disagree that earning commissions is easy.

I agree that You Tube videos can be a great tool, but you just jump from that to assuming it's easy to be ranked and get a video seen. People who do well in this area have more than just videos going on. Videos are one tool. Not the entire marketing plan.

If you "blast" people every day they are going to unsubscribe. Especially with "make money online" offers.

You make a lot of assumptions in these numbers, but don't take into consideration how hard it is to get 200k subscribers and then just assume a conversion rate on a made up number. This is the common danger of people who go into business online. Made up numbers with no real plan on how to get them, or no consideration for how long and how much work it takes.

Not only that as a JV you will get cash prizes along with your commisions if you provide certain number of sales. Now I have seen most vendors provided upto $10000 first prize for 1000+ sales or so so that's a plus and don't forget you then become "Marketing Guru" :)

So how's that working out for you? I assume by your post that you are implementing this successfully and are easily making 6 figures.
