Stumbled upon this post (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/02/12/then-and-now-lego-ad_n_4768560.html?ncid=edlinkusaolp00000009) about a famous 1981 Legos ad that made waves. I find it fascinating compared to today's toy ads.

my son lives for lego's....he likes the new kits they have for every movie scene.....he builds them once and then it goes into his pile to make new stuff with.....he lives for the video games....lego is insanely smart with their products

The 1981 ad definitely shows more creativity and experiment than the newer collected one. I remember when I was young at summer camp I built a fairly substantial 3ft x 3ft pyramid and some kids got the brainy idea to build a 6ft x 6ft pyramid but ran out of time to finish it. The lego supply was lacking anyway lol. --Lauren

You got to get The Simpsons House! It's awesome. Took me 7 hours to build (that included a few quickie breaks).

Is the dirt bike you have the Technic set? Technic sets are great!
