    Default Paper trail order records

How much do you keep actually printed on paper? Right now for each order I print the quickbooks order, invoice from website, and record of payment from PayPal. It is becoming very cumbersome. Is this too much? In theory all is backed up and could be printed at any time if needed. Can't say I have needed these print outs.

I try to keep as little paper as possible. We print our invoices to a PDF file. Most of our clients still get mailed paper invoices, so we print those and mail them. For clients who prefer invoices by email, we don't even print the invoice on paper. In neither case do we keep paper copies in our own files. It is a waste of time and space, and is not environmentally friendly.

Thanks. Is there any legal reason to have any of this stuff printed? Or am I fine as long as I can print them?
